OCTOBER DRIVING TOUR, GRAND MESA SCENIC BYWAY

Note: This tour will be limited to 25 Porsches
Fee: $10 per vehicle
Lunch: Lunch is NOT included in registration fee

Description of the Grand Mesa Scenic Byway Driving Tour:
MORNING — RMRers from the Roaring Fork Valley area will meet up in Carbondale, then drive to West Glenwood Springs (Exit 114), picking up any Avon/Vail participants. We then drive west on I-70 toward De Beque, (Exit 49) where we will pick up any Grand Junction participants.
DRIVERS MEETING — Our driving tour officially starts at EXXON in West Glenwood (51171 Hwy 6 & 24, Glenwood Springs, 81601), meeting PROMPTLY at 08:00am. All participants will be verified of registration, all must have completed a PCA tour event waiver and everyone attend a drivers' meeting at 08:05am.
LUNCH — Lunch, around 12:20, will be at Zack’s BBQ in Hotchkiss (www.zacksbarbecue.com). Lunch will be the responsibility of the participant and will conclude around 1:30pm.
AFTER LUNCH — After lunch the tour group will depart Hotchkiss and head east to Redstone and explore the Redstone Historic District, then head back to Carbondale, Colorado closing the loop and ending the tour around 3:30pm.
MILEAGE — Depending where you start and end this driving tour, mileage is ~220 miles.
